Pros
It is easy to use, compact, and works great. It's super easy to take care of and has minimal effort for cleaning.
One sits on a kitchen counter and the other on a window sill. The lights are so bright you'd have to wear sunglasses every time you go in the kitchen. The timer function is lovely.
The aerogarden is very satisfying and idiot-proof. Now watching the deals for a bounty (9 pod) version.
Cons
Seeds like to be moist but won't germinate while submerged in water. The dill overheated because the lights are too hot.
Planned obsolescence at its finest. This thing is not worth the hassle and expense. The settings are wildly annoying and difficult to find in the maze of settings they have.

It was impossible to get the mint to stop growing, it was popping out of every hole long after i took the plug out.
Price
Used it all winter for lettuce which was at a premium price.
Rosie and mary eat fresh veggies and with romaine lettuce at $6.
Bought on sale so value for money was good.
Did purchase this on sale at 120$ and that's a fair price in my estimation.
Shipping
On december 16th the company didn't process my purchase until the 23rd so obviously didn't arrive when they advertised on the 23rd
3 days layer i receive the replacement pod, sent by fedex from the states to canada.
It arrived prime next day, was so easy for mom and dad to set up and has been growing like a bad weed.

I grow herbs outside in the summer but after the growing season always need to buy from the store which drives me crazy as i never use up a whole bunch of herbs before they rot so lots of waste and wasted money as they can be expensive

From the initial set all herbs have grown except the thyme but i also bought empty pods and will try again with other seeds
