I have to upgrade my review of this item because whereas in the past when i ordered these they had only 13 flats on the shell and i could not use my oil filter wrench to set the torque to 12 ftlbs now it has the proper 14 flats

I dont tighten just hand tight like the recommendation because on several occasions i have noticed oil in the bilge and a loose oil filter
