Pros
Lots of fun and adventure with engaging characters. I recommend this to anyone who loves a good adventure with a bit of romance in it.
Each character has endearing flaws that bring the cast together. Jev and zenia are a good match. My only quibble is the idea that 4 of the 5 main characters all had the same sense of humor.
Take the plunge and read the series. This series has a lot of twist and turns. I give it a 4* just for the clever and creativity.
Cons
This series was so disappointing i felt compelled to write something. World building is decent, if very derivative of classic fantasy tropes. The dialogue is horrendous.
