There is no reading so a 5 year old can play if heshe has the attention span for an hour long board game

There are a couple that arent explicit for instance you cant sow a field that already has wheat on it makes sense thematically but actually isnt stated in this versions rules while it is stated in the regular version

Overall i highly recommend this game if you loved the original but are looking for a simplified version to introduce to youngernewer gamers or if youve never played the original yourself but are interested in strategic board games and the concept of farmbuilding appeals to you

You can play 14 players with this version and there is a different board piece for each
