This kettle has great temperature selection and temperature keep functions which are quite useful but the one thing which bothers me is that the outer shell gets really hot

You have to open the lid before taking it off its stand to solve the sticking lid problem mentioned in previous reviews

When it reaches the requested temperature it doesnt make any noise it just turns off
