The holder is very sturdy and holds the phone well. It accommodates many device sizes and orientations. Would recommend to others.
Holds my smart phone securely. The phone is securely mount by turning the knob. I like how it's adjustable and durable at a reasonable price.

My earlier review mentioned a problem mounting it on my thirty year old tripod so that the screen was on the same side as the tilt and pan handle

After christmas i fiddled with it and got it mounted around 180 degrees so that the bracket does not obstruct the screen
