These particular pads are more comfortable since they are soft and are not a solid piece of plastic but unlike other nose pads they do not have a solid hard plastic piece where the screw holds them in place

Im hoping that these replacement nose pads hold up better than the originals that came with my frame since i always end ups having pads that break off at the point where they are attached at the screw
