Pros
One bottle is all i need and it lasts more than a month. Looks nice and doesn't stain clothes etc. It’s been several weeks since we dumped it & the color just keeps getting better.
Works well by itself or even better with granulated algaecide. Just add a bit after each rainstorm to keep the algae away. Only time i have to add more is when we get alot of rain and the water flows out the overflow.
Cons
Crystal blue immediately starts to disperse into the water. It binds to the chlorine and it burns off in the sun. This works well on a cloudy day or at night, so there might be use for an occasion but nothing long-lasting.

Excellent product, applied easily and the color is perfect
It works great and the color stays for a long time.
This is 18 days after spraying 1/2 of pond.
Follow the directions, wear rubber gloves, and watch it transform your pond.
Price
So i used four of these this year at $25 or so a bottle and i'm quite happy.
That 1/8 cup did more good than about $500 worth of repeated algaecide and it's diminishing effects.
Just wish it was a little cheaper.

I bought this after i used another brand that didn't do anything.
Prior to purchasing this dye i was using another brand name picked up from lowe’s.
The blue color was a little more blue green than dyes of other brands, but i was very pleased it was enough to dye my 1/3 acre pond.

I add less than a tablespoon and it makss the water in my pond the prettiest blue color

It is very messy though so be careful wear gloves when applying takes very little product to do the job
