It arrived 6 days ago and i had it running 20 minutes after it got here and it's been running on smart mode ever since.

Basically you just want to leave it on all the time

There is no option to have fan speed 1 on auto and have it ramp up whenever the air quality gets worse without having the unit shut off after 10 minutes if the air is good
