It's no butcher block but it's plenty nice, and it’s much less heavy than a butcher block. The clever part is that one side of the board is straightforward cutting. Large enough to easily carve a large roast or turkey.
This is vital for the upkeep of wood cutting boards. The quality and durability seem pretty good. It cleans very easily as well.
Unlike most doublesided cuttting boards, this has legs on both sides. It has a large surface and 4 rubber feet on each side to stabilize it. Both sides have feet to avoid scratching any surface.
It's a relatively thin board, but is perfectly flat and has no signs of warping or manufacturing defect. It is solid, heavy duty without being heavy weight-wise. It feels nice and sturdy.
Cons
It has little pieces of wood sticking out throughout the whole thing.

The quality and durability seem pretty good.
Overall, i am very impressed with the craftsmanship on this piece.
Quality is the same - so it will just be a preference of coloring on your end.
Some people would see that as an advantage and others as a disadvantage, since heavy board is associated with quality i guess.
Price
If the price was more in the $40 range it would be a great deal on what appears to be a solid and probably long lasting cutting board.

I just use a basic cutting board oil

Do not use a food oil like olive because it can go rancid

One side is a prep side the other side has the liquid catch on it

Its reversible with one side acting as what ill call your main meat cutting side with a channel that would collect fluids or juice

The other side has a thin channel that runs around the board that would probably be more ideal for cutting fruit or other items

I picked this one up thinking it would be nice to use for a cheese board or maybe for a roast since the opposite side has a blood groove
