In fact, they don't need to be lubed unless you really want to extract the best feel and sound out of them, and after lubing a few of these (mainly the switches for the stabilized modifiers), it is apparent that lubing them will marginally improve the already-super-smooth switch with more smoothness and less clackiness and for eliminating the minimal spring noise.  Read Less
