Pros & Cons
Pros
They're incredibly smooth and consistent, sound nice, and pass through rbg very nicely. They have a sound that is higher and smoother than the stock redragon browns and reds. Give a nice positive feel and low pitch click or thock.
The matchas are very good for typing and gaming. This style of tactile makes a very enjoyable typing experience. While the sound of these keys are a bit loud for me, it is pretty satisfying to type on.
The radiant reds are fast, snappy, smooth and accurate. The silvers are impressively smooth stock. Packaging is nice as well as adds to unbox experience.
What a phenomenal switch. One of the single greatest bang for your buck switches i have ever had the pleasure of using. Love akko switches.
There was very slight spring ping, but that was fixed by oiling the springs. The blue jelly switches are a much softer tactile than the lavender.
Cons
The box and switches were heavily damaged. The issue with receiving used switches is that you don't know what the previous buyer did to them. If getting these order the un lubed version and lube them yourself.
Highlights
Quality
They are made out of high quality materials and you can tell that the quality is amazing for the price of these switches.
Quality and sound is top tier for all kinds of switches.
While playing dota, i found myself activating spells by mistake, as the switch got depressed with the slightest of touches.
Now with the spring being lighter, i don't see myself pressing actuating the switch on purpose, cause of that tactile bump.
Price
Sound: they have a sound that is higher and smoother than the stock redragon browns and reds.
These switches make a very pleasant deep “thocc” sound and make just as good of sound as switches that are 3-5 times the price.
Very good value, but fantastic even when price isn't considered!
Shipping
I am more than willing to overpay for these switches - especially since i don't have to pay $100 minimum for free shipping on amazon.
in every single aspect — shipping, build quality, sound, feel, ease of install — these rose reds have blown me away.
To give some context, it was faster lubing these switches than opening them.
Packaging/appearance
They sound even better once they are lubed though and in general akko does a great job with the packaging.
Unboxing is exciting with the packaging style.
I like it more than the reds, for the price and feel alone i give it a thumbs up, packaging is nice as well adds to unbox experience.
They packaging was beautiful as well, which i wasn't expecting.
Competitiveness
Can't recommend it enough for budget builds still looking for a high-quality switch.
I am a gateron yellow user primarily, however, got these for another test build that i am working on, and i use that one primar... Read More
I would highly recommend a gateron switch opener if you are thinking of modding these.
In the later half u can see a akko vs outemu blue vs outemu red.
