Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

These linear keyboard switches offer an incredibly smooth keystroke experience. One significant advantage of most akko switches is their affordability. Certain keycap profiles can make the keyboard seem louder.

Out of the box, they are decently smooth and has a slight pop, but a more clack sound. The spring is a little heavier, but they're so tactile without being too much.

Cons

Overall, very disappointed with these switches. They aren't that great of a switch. Only redeeming quality is they are pretty. These just *.

Akko is a horrible company. Solely based on quality control.

The reset point is also inconsistent. The actuation point is not the same as the tactile bump point.

I've been into this custom keyboards hobby for little time, just 1+ year, and most of that time i just used gateron blue swtiches.

Sound:these switches have a sound signature that i would describe as marbly when combined with a set of doubleshot pbt cherry p...  Read More
