Pros & Cons
Pros
These are the real deal. They're affordable. The price per switch is a steal! Would recommend, and will buy another set from them if needed later!
The spring ping is pretty pronounced, but i can completely overlook that because the price is just outstanding. They have a higher sound than the bobas. I tend to disregard mx switches as tinny sounding and scratchy- but these definitely work to chang... Read More
The key press is so satisfactory both in the minutia of the feeling of the spring compressing and in the sound it produces with and without the key cap atop it. They also have a long throw at 4mm. They especially feel heavier on the release, and make ... Read More
This is for the aqua blue switches. The cream yellow switch by akko is an excellent linear with compatibility for basically any keyboard. Came with cheap red switches of course.
The switches are amazing, and basically solve the problems i have with the cs crystals. They are easy to install and remove. I use them on my daily board at work and everyone loves them.
Highlights
Quality
They are a 'silent' switch and with the combination of the board its such a good sound.
I’m in love with the cream yellows!
In my keychron v3, these switches sound very marbly.
Not bad experiences mind you, but the variation has me very confused.
Price
I got them to put into a tecware phantom 87 to replace their stock outemu red switches.
I hope you guys don’t let the price set the level of quality if you do your missing out.
They feel really premium for their price.
Packaging/appearance
I also appreciate the high quality packaging, each switch has its own little holder.
Packaging and items are accurate described and all of the switches are in working condition.
I would avoid the lubed jely blacks.
I did not lube or mod these, installed them right out of the box.
Competitiveness
I nodded my red dragon k630 board with them, and needed a 3pin switch that would still produce a creamy sound i liked.
I love these akko x gateron yellow switches!
I just go into custome keyboards and bought a cheap one to tinker with.
And it was comparable to gateron pro reds.
