Pros & Cons
Pros
Great value for the quality you receive. Great packaging. Easy to open thanks to the long stem and great build quality. Only note of caution is the pins can bend somewhat easily if you aren't careful.
If you're looking for a great sounding tactile switch get these and make sure they are the lubed version, unless you have the patience to lube them yourself haha. The feel is super smooth, and was lighter than i thought it would be (not a problem) the... Read More
The factory lubing is fantastic - as good as i've seen from any manufacturer. I use a magenta color for mine, so the clear blue housing on the jelly blues creates a gradient that is magenta under the legend. I particularly love the purple lavender col... Read More
The lavender purples make for an incredibly satisfying typing experience. They are light for the softer tactility and come prelubed. The 22mm spring makes all the difference as well.
Cons
These lubed switches have no lube, or maybe trace amounts? Get glorious pandas or something instead. Don't bother.
Highlights
Quality
At only 20 dollars for a pack, these switches are an excellent value for the quality you receive.
The material quality is fantastic and the shine through isn't impeded at all.
Out of 90 switches that i lubed, only one of them was unusable due to a bent leaf that interfered with the switch closing properly.
Holy pandas are basically linear sorry not sorry.
Price
They sound nice and the price for them makes it all so worth it compared to other akko options.
The spring ping is pretty pronounced, but i can completely overlook that because the price is just outstanding.
Packaging/appearance
Almost no key wobble, satisfying sound and high quality packaging all mean to me this deserves a 5 star review.
Switch packaging was perfect, no bent or dead switches, all with consistent lubing (resistance/sound when pressing pre installation).
Competitiveness
Heavier than gateron and cherry browns, but much more clean and smooth in my opinion.
Really good distance when it comes to key presses, and quicker timing and typing than my old kailh switches for sure.
However, if i could give these black lubed switches a rating it would be 0/5.
It’s very creamy and thocky bad i recommend thease switches
