Pros & Cons
Pros
The keycaps themselves are a thick quality feeling pbt. These look absolutely amazing and the quality is pretty good. For the price these absolutely kick *.
Akko neon 157-key is a gorgeous set of key caps. Each key is doubleshot pbt. The included key-cap remover is of decent quality.
They are so vibrant that they look like they're backlit. The legends are crisp and double shot so they'll never fade. They include almost all the modifiers in a really cool teal color that matches the legends on the dark blue caps.
Akko keycaps are a great value and well worth looking into if you want to customize your cherry-switched keyboard. The set comes with so many keys in different sizes to accommodate strange layouts from prebuilt boards such as corsair and razer.
The keycaps come in a reusable hardshell case with the keycaps held in place by mini stems. The hard, plastic case has a magnetic closure, and displays the keys neatly. The included carrying case is awesome, but unnecessary imo.
Highlights
Quality
Have these for around 4 months or so and even with consistent daily use, no fade has occurred and are still in tip top shape.
Great lights, good keys , great for gaming!
The sound of the cherry profile is clacky and leans toward high pitch over a low end "thick" sound.
The back-end of the caps (the cross design that holds the caps to the switches on your keyboard) is extremely inconsistent but ... Read More
Price
Still a great set for the money.
Was pretty impressed at the $40 price tag.
At $60, this keycap set is not inexpensive.
I cannot justify spending $100+ on keycaps; you could a keyboard with that money.
Shipping
I was happy not with just the expedited shipping but when they arrived i found they had included another color way with the mac... Read More
Packaging/appearance
The packaging that it comes in is incredible and all the keys fit perfectly in my set.
The caps come in a slick, fold out, plastic case as their packaging, and include a variety of keycaps to choose from depending ... Read More
Just the packaging alone is nicer that sets that cost 2 or 3 times as much.
The packaging is beautiful and clutch because you can store the old keycaps from your keyboard into the container.
Competitiveness
Aesthetically they're really nice and unique compared to what i was finding online and especially compared to the keycap select... Read More
Straight to the point it’s an amazing set that has similar quality if not better than gmk sets going that sell for 2x the amount and up.
The other budget sets don’t come close to akko in terms of overall quality and feel.
The case that the caps come in is very nice, yeah mine came missing a magnet too but overall, compared to other sets i’ve gotte... Read More

This is controversial i understand why companies dont want them to create knockoff products of their clothes phones or whatever other design but this is a straight ripoff of gmk laser at a 3rd of the price and a barely noticeable difference in quality

I think gmk and their designers are going to have to up their game literally make their designs harder to copy with things like intricate sublegends or copyrightprotected logos on their novelties

Ill probably keep these caps as a placeholder thats why theyre currently being used on my keyboard and throw them in a ziploc bag at some point

If youre wondering how i think this differs from real gmk keycaps the feel is slightly smoother and the print is much less consistent between caps and less sharp but only when you put your face right up to the caps
