Any controller connected will be mapped as an xbox controller. Even when the controller is off, the adapter also works very well. It's convenient to use and works fine.

Overall, this adapter works extremely well and is a must-have for hardcore gamers with lots of equipment and controllers.
Hook up the xbox controller to the adapter, pair the ps5 controller, and it works flawlessly!
This adapter will only work with oem controllers.
This in some of my emulation programs made it difficult to use the features in my ps4 controller like 6 axis for rpcs4.
Packaging/appearance
This thing, to start, is small, compact, and well packed in the little container it comes with.
Competitiveness
I was able to use a dualsense and elite on ps2, dreamcast, and saturn consoles.
For other systems such as xbox and playstation there are different steps that have to be followed instead.
For those multiple player games i can use those other controllers instead of buying the same controller multiple times.

It can be a little finicky about connection sometimes but only if there is something in the way of transmission
