The directions were not helpful and ended up looking up a video on youtube to put it together bc it was so frustrating

The wings on the seat are to close together and ride your leg bones

He used a 1x3 to go diagonal across the top of the wing and a 14x6x12 piece of wood to go under the 1x3 so the 1x3 wouldn’t pierce the seatthen he used a 12” c clamp and clamped from the bottom of the chairs arm which is almost 14 thick steel

To the wood 1x3 going diagonal and he cracked down hard as it would go then took wooden rubber mallet and sledged on it until it opened to the proper distance

On a side notethe chair is so well built it’s heavy and if you have to take it up to your second floor because your office in your house is up there well let’s just say damn

Set up wise took all of 10 min by myself incredibly easy set up and it seems like the vendors listened to their customers and made the instruction sheet alot more understandable
