I have bought these for the purpose of stacking in hopes to eliminate the problem i have had with the ones you can purchase on the spot at most stores

However even some of those with the better designed tops for stacking purposes when storing them in garages or attics the heat will eventually cause the tops to cave in when stacking more than 3 thus not useful when trying to save space
