Pros
Beautiful damascus bladed knife. Solid for as thin and compact as they are.
The blade appears to be a san mai construction, with a *, and damascus on either side. The recess in the blade back is for your thumb to sit for carving. The albatross logo on the blade is laser etched.
The scales are smooth and nicely rounded and absolutely free of splinters. Didnt come very sharp, but now has a 17° bevel and is very slicey.

Cons
The blade is very thin, so you basically have a letter opener. When it comes to a knife the blade is everything and this blade ain't worth a rip. I plan to go back to my crt, which is similar in size and blade but which has a functional pocket clip.
The damascus looks more like a laser etched pattern. It looks nice till you pick it up and manipulate it. This makes it slow and uncomfortable to extract in a hurry.

Whether it holds it's edge as long a vg10 will take some time to determine.

I found a ground spot on the bottom spine where the lock will engage

In that ground spot the pattern is missing because the damascus pattern only shows after an acid bath and if you grind or polish it the damascus pattern will disappear
