    As the albrillo wall transformer is connected to an inline master power switch and my transformer has no power switch i plugged my supply into a tripplite surge suppressor strip which happens to have several outlets that are switched on or off using any ir emitting remote control makes no difference the brand remote all that matters is if it emits ir light when pressing any button on an ir remote

    I put one of the strips on the lights at first and pressed very hard and they all fell off the very first night

    As i mentioned i stapled the excess cords to the bottom of the cabinets so its not like there is weight on the lights that would be dragging them down and cause the adhesive to fail
