It’s a little on the gaudy side (with a bright red light from the side at night), but it works consistently and i couldn’t be happier.
Elements like rain, snow, and clouds (shadows) would cause unwanted line crossing notifications.
Replaced a two-way unit (battery on one end, power on the other) with this unit.

I have a hikvision camera that i was using to send me line crossing detections on my driveway and 50 of them would be false line crossings

So after doing some research i placed the photo eye sensor at the beginning of my drive and wired it into my alarm input of the camera
