Bought 2 of these panels to charge 2 12v batteries. I have a 1000 watt inverter that charges my dewalt batteries for all my 20v tools. We tend to run the furnace at night, in colorado it gets a bit nippy at night.

I am ordering another because the location it’s in is partially shaded and in the late fall and winter it doesn’t get quite enough sunlight to keep the 2 12volt gelcells fully charged

The problem is that the camera has powerful ir leds for night vision

They work great but pull the batteries down at night with no replenishment

In the summer no problems but in winter or long period of very heavy overcast batteries eventually run down and panel can’t catch up battery charge and run the camera

The panel begins making enough power to run the camera as soon as daybreak occurs just can’t charge batteries also
