There are separate buttons for each function of the remote and this is important because you dont want to accidentally discipline your pooch when you meant to warn or reward

You can just switch between which collar you are on with a clear indicator on the screen to let you know

With using the vibrate mode as a warning i rarely even actually use the shock button
