Pros
Length is the only issue. I am just under 5’4” and the petite is just the right length for me. The knit interior liner is comfortable and the outer chiffon shell is of high quality. Pull on and luxurious.
Cons
There is no way by my standards that these pants are petite. They are definitely not a chiffon overlay as the amazon picture shows. I keep responding to the email to let them know i don't have the merchandise; but, they keep trying to charge.
The waist is elastic but it’s an exposed rubber type elastic. It isn’t sewn in between the fabric, so this rubber elastic touches your skin. Main reason i want to return the evening pants is the flimsy waist band elastic.

I am very pleased with the style of these pants!
I'm familiar with the brand and so i knew it would fit me; the only question was the length, which, as noted, was ideal, too!
The stitch quality looks a bit off and not super secure.
My only thing is waistband could have had better quality.
Competitiveness
These were easily 3 inches too long for me, even with 3-inch heels.

Update i was modeling these for a friend and i bent down to put on my dress shoes and the center seam split

They were labeled correctly but about 8” too long

I am 53 and even though they are petite still too long without wearing taller heels than i prefer wearing

Not enough time to have them shortened so i have to return
