Pros
An excellent ccw holster. Worth every cent.
It is comfortable, durable and looks outstanding. Feels comfortable against the hip with no hard edges to dig in. Hides well under a light jacket.
The alien paddle fits tight on the the hip and works very well as a clip on even on my flimsy dress belt. Works well with the glock 43x. Great fit for my ruger sr40c.

Great rigid, well made holster. Sturdy with great features and flexibility for cant angle and retention. Perfect after a little bit of tweaking.

Junk, very bad retention. Does not lock gun in place. Poor fit for gun. Wont use it.

I make kydex products and can say definitively that this is an excellently engineered design with top notch hardware.
This holster was so great i purchased another one and an iwb holster along with two mounts.
Well alas after waiting more than a year aliengear still has not made one for a xdm 4.

It doesnt flop around holds the pistol in tight so it doesnt drop out but its also very smooth pulling it out and returning it

Yes that does mean you have to completely re set the retention each and every time

That being said its not difficult to do just tedious for anyone who wants to change from paddle to slide with any regularity
