Pros

It handles everything with ease and has a decent battery even in the highest settings. What i like about it is it pretty much stops using cpu and only uses the gpu while gaming. It handles both oculus and valve index pc vr.

It really is a great machine now but the initial headache is resolved. Good for everything other than dispersing heat.

The keyboard keys and pad are sleek, functional, and crisp. My pinky finger is not the most accrete so having a triple size key makes it easy to rocket my pinky up to the backspace to delete that wrong character.

All the ports are on the back, so depending on your setup, thats either good or annoying. Comes with an adapter for plugging in to the internet directly. Devices connect easy enough.

Cons

Buyer beware. Gb of ram is completely insufficient. I was forced to do a return for a refund (replacement was not offered) their product is faulty, and their service is worse.

The alienware command center is garbage. It is way to hot and battery limited. It freezes every time. Software glitches apparently do to custome dell or alienware programs. The battery life isn't great, either.

It sounds like the audio is being processed through the blades of a helicopter. Other software photos do not open with the main photo app, but i can open them with a painting app.

After about 45 minutes of gaming, they got louder and detracted a bit from the immersion.

Unplug it from the outlet and let the battery runs out of juice every month and your battery will last more.

Price

I have expected a lot from this laptop specially because of the price.

Seriously, spend the $ and get a good cooling pad.

I got this laptop on sale from dell for $1599 and within the first 5 minutes of turning it on there were issues with the keyboard.

For the price i paid, im happy but i doubt i'd pay full price.

Shipping

Amazon customer service hung up on me, extremely rude customer service.

I got mine directly from dell, but it runs fast and cool.

Competitiveness

Highly recommend it especially that the price is way better than stores or other online stores.

There's better alternatives for the money, including aw's own m series.
