Pros & Cons
Pros
Christina tosi throws fussiness out the window to focus on flavor and fun. Huge tosi fan.
This book is a gem! Excellent writing. Contains a good intro in which she explains why she chose certain flour for certain recipes. Still fun and creative but more casual stuff thrown in.
Her energy for getting things right is contagious. Be sure to get the diamond crystal kosher salt. All the components are delicious and i decreased the coconut i added to the coconut crack layer by 30%.

Cons
The pretzel cake requires malt powder. Is this diastatic malt powder? And why is 2 grams of ground ginger equal to 1 tsp. And the cinnamon is 4 grams too but it reads 2 teaspoons?

Although the required cola extract was expensive, the cake was perfect!
That recipe alone justifies the cost of the book cause they are so freaking good.
Shipping
I got the book and in a week had made around 4 batches.
It arrived 2 months later but it arrived in good shape.
Competitiveness
It is very detailed and insightful down to the brand of flour you should use to achieve milk bar quality.
It has much less sodium than other kosher salts.
