Pros
A small amount of barkeepers friend is all i need to keep them spotless. Use oil (like olive oil) and cook at lower temperatures to minimize food sticking to the pan.
The all-clad d3 3-ply stainless steel fry pan with lid, 12 inch, stands as an exemplary culinary tool. It is leagues above the cuisinart stainless steel frying pan i owned previously. Cooking on stainless steel is different.

Cons
There were two deep nicks on the cooking side of the pan. The 8 quart pot is elevated 3-4 mm in the middle and barely an inch around the bottom edge actually makes contact with the stovetop.
This is such a major design flaw that i just can't use it. Dimensions are wrong! Unacceptable response and photograph demand from allclad.

Basically all you do is heat it up higher than you might need until you can drop water on it and it quickly evaporates.
Its not nonstick, don’t expect it to be, thats the point though.
Price
Expensive but sometimes you have to treat yourself.
