Pros & Cons
Pros
I'm a pretty good about researching for the best fit for me before making a purchase. If this falls within your budget you will not be disappointed.
Both pans' surfaces were designed for easy cleaning. The food even tastes better, more crispy.
Unlike diamonds, stainless is truly forever when taken care of. You never have to worry about scratching them either. After using it everyday for 3 weeks, the pan still looks new.
Let the food cook for a minute until it releases, it is great. Seasoning the pans are essential and warming the pan up to the correct temperature range before adding cooking oil is also absolutely important to minimize sticking.
When preheated properly stainless is as versatile as cookware can get. All-clad d3 is hd and built to last. If these are too pricey for you but you want to try stainless check out misen.
Cons
Food is pitted in the pan and won't come out. Stainless steel is not teflon and it is not your college roommate's aluminum pan. Some chefs say food stains are the nature of stainless steel and that the stains should not be removed.
It is exhausting and i don't understand why this costs so much more. They are pretty pricey. What a disappointment for being an american made product.
It has sharp edges around the lip, and the handle itself isn't particularly ergonomically designed. The bottom is not level and rocks back and forth. It has dingy looking spots all over it.
