Pros & Cons
Pros
No scraping. No scouring. No worries. The 3 ply is nothing to sneeze at.
The 8 quart pot is a generous size and works for most of my large pot needs. The sides of the pan are truly vertical, and can accommodate a generous quantity of ingredients. Perfect for soups for 2 with some leftovers.
No issues cleaning the residue from the seared chicken, tomato sauce, or the cream. Clean up was so simple and much easier than my non-stick pots or my french enameled cast iron dutch ovens. The 8 quart capacity is great.
It heats well and is very easy to clean. The heat dispersion is great. It is easy to set it at a low simmer.
Have always loved the durability of all clad. The all-clad is as close as i could find.
Highlights
Quality
Very well made and i love the sturdy bottom, i don’t have to worry about things burning in it.
It is all-clad - well made, even heat, sturdy - will last a lifetime.
After many years, there's been an almost 3mm deep loss of aluminum all around the edge.
I bought this as a ‘like new’ product, labeled as 1% scratch at bottom.
Price
The price was also surprising, great value.
I would buy that instantly, regardless of cost.
Not cheap but you get what you pay for!
This is not cheap - but worth the price for serious cooks.
Shipping
Pan had arrived well-boxed and on time.
They shipped it out the same day ordered!
Contacted seller prior to order and they were very helpful in sorting out the information online.
Packaging/appearance
Received in good condition, with the all-clad original box.
Competitiveness
I use these more than any other cookware i own.
I've tried others but none compare to all-clad.
The d5 is more money, but is not as responsive to heat; the d3 is more closely related to copper than the d5, and is much cheaper.
I have tried other brands but these were recommended and i tried them.

I had been wanting this stock pot for years but stuck with my crummy old farberware from my starter marriage in the mid 80s

It did last a last a long time though— maybe i should leave a review for it as well

Alas the farberware pot separated from its base so it was time to replace
