Pros & Cons
Pros
The 8 quart pot is a generous size and works for most of my large pot needs. Minimal spatter, fast and even reductions, and no burnt food are major plusses. Perfect for soups for 2 with some leftovers.
It has a good heft to it. Very versatile. Their products are top notch compared to anything else i’ve used. Well worth the price. Worth every penny.
The 3 ply is nothing to sneeze at. No scraping.
There are only a few light scratches which are not visible when on the cooktop. Have always loved the durability of all clad. The all-clad is as close as i could find.
No issues cleaning the residue from the seared chicken, tomato sauce, or the cream. Cleaning is easier, because we use one less 12 quart pot per task.
Highlights
Quality
Very well made and i love the sturdy bottom, i don’t have to worry about things burning in it.
It is all-clad - well made, even heat, sturdy - will last a lifetime.
After many years, there's been an almost 3mm deep loss of aluminum all around the edge.
I bought this as a ‘like new’ product, labeled as 1% scratch at bottom.
Price
The price was also surprising, great value.
I would buy that instantly, regardless of cost.
Not cheap but you get what you pay for!
This is not cheap - but worth the price for serious cooks.
Shipping
Pan had arrived well-boxed and on time.
They shipped it out the same day ordered!
Contacted seller prior to order and they were very helpful in sorting out the information online.
Packaging/appearance
Received in good condition, with the all-clad original box.
Competitiveness
I use these more than any other cookware i own.
I've tried others but none compare to all-clad.
The d5 is more money, but is not as responsive to heat; the d3 is more closely related to copper than the d5, and is much cheaper.
I have tried other brands but these were recommended and i tried them.
