Pros & Cons

This is the most expensive pan i've ever purchased -- but well worth it! I'm in australia and this item had cheap postage so worked out cheaper than buying local. They have a great lifetime warranty. here is where i cannot say i’ve used this pan 10 ye... Read More
People get tripped up here. It is stainless steel some things stick as expected" it cleans easily, though, and looks nice.
The only thing i don't love about this pan is that the handle weights almost as much as the rest of the pan, so it's a little tippy when empty. I love the 5 ply construction and the handle that is thick, strong and riveted on for a long, long life.
I need to replace my 25 year old cuisinart which has 8 bottom. Demeyere would outperform all clad is in the larger pans.

Customer service people are not very welcoming on the phone, and their warranty process is stressful. I am thankful that they honored their warranty however and deemed that piece defective and sent me a replacement. Not pleased at all.

My recent purchase of that pan was $215.
I waited a year to buy it because it was expensive.
Competitiveness
We have some even more expensive cookware which would not be a fair comparison.
No different than when you have that favorite pair of expensive jeans that you *could* put in the dryer, but don't.
