The lid is functionally junk

Its beautiful and solidly made but because there are no holes to let steam escape boilovers occur around the entire rim of the pan making a mess

Its basically the same lid they sell for 50 and its not triply or clad like the rest of the pan so marring it with a hole wouldnt feel too bad

Also note that this lid does not fit on the allclad 12 stainless fry pan
