Pros & Cons
Pros
Some reviewers complain the long handle can't support the weight of the pan's body. It's the perfect size, as it covers my largest burner. The exterior bottom (because of the rounded junction of the walls curving to meet the bottom) is a good fit on t... Read More
The d5 is awesome! They are worth the investment. As for this pan its a beast. If you wish to continue this is a fantastic piece and will last maybe forever.
It keeps a uniform heat over the entire surface and sides at lower temperatures. Perfect for braising, slow cooking, stews etc and also quickly searing and pan frying without hot spots trying to shuffle the food around. Although the inside finish has ... Read More
The all-clad d5 2-quart saute pan serves this purpose very well. It's as good as they get in terms of pans from all clad. If your serious about your cooking and enjoy your time in the kitchen you should consider investing in high quality cookware.
Cons
Their advice is to keep scrubbing. Also the weight of the pan is not consistent with confirmed genuine all-clad product. Would not buy again.

Competitiveness
The all-clad d5 2-quart saute pan serves this purpose very well.
Love that it's made in the usa.
Its handle is unusually long (at 9 inches), even longer than the handle on a 12-inch all-clad ltd chef's pan.
Well i finally just gave myself this pan for my bday.
