Pros & Cons
Pros
One of the standout features of this dutch oven is its high-quality cast iron material. Nice height. I hope you found it helpful.
Although it is heavy the enamel surface makes it easy to clean. Compared to regular cast iron, a breeze to clean and maintain. Has been updated.
I love the deepness of this pot, it's so useful for one pot meals. Every part of this pot is solidly-built. The pot is heavy but well worth it because of the quality and pretty much lifelong use you will get out of it.
This pan is expensive, but it is really a multi purpose pan. It's perfect for the grill, stovetop and oven.
Highlights
Quality
This is extremely well made and i see myself using it for years to come.
Well made is what this is pot, will last me through generations.
All i can do is at least assure you this is good quality, if you do decide to take the leap.
This pot feels like it's designed to be a modern pot just made out of cast iron instead.
Price
In the long run they are a great value.
I gave this 4 stars because i have absolutely zero issues with the product itself, but the price is a hard pill to swallow.
$200 is a lot of money for a single pot.
At the time of writing this review, it currently sells for $246 but i truly believe it is well worth this cost.
Packaging/appearance
I love that it came with a nice little trivet.
Enameled outside and beautifully seasoned cast iron interior with a stainless steel lid and an included wooden display trivet.
The packaging that it comes in would make for a great housewarming gift.
It's pretty, we leave it on the cook top because it is so attractive.
Competitiveness
For comparison, i have been using le creuset for years so am pretty familiar with dutch ovens, as well as some staub products.
I have three others (staub, le creuset, and lodge) of different sizes, and this is absolutely right there with the more expensive ones.
It feels as substantial as le creuset, but for much cheaper.
The pan has weight, but is not as heavy as le cruset.

That does come with the downside that you wouldnt want to use it in a campfire with coals heaped on top but you probably werent going to use an allclad dutch oven that way anyway
