Pros

Get this tablet, no hesitation. I prefer this one over the kindle 11 max simply because i'm a bookaholic and the 11 has a major flaw that just is not working for me. The tablet is wonderful.

The screen is vivid and i can read without glare. The 10 inch has a screen that is comfortable and crisp to view. It also has a magnetic closure which is handy.

Cons

Performance is laggy and choppy. Amazon quality is garbage. Why is this thing such a piece of *?

We haven't had the amazon fire hd 10 tablet for very long so we're still discovering all it can do, but so far we love it.

Competitiveness

Bought my entire family 4 brand new 10” hd tablets for less than the price of 1 ipad!

With a few online downloads, they work almost as good as the big name tablets for streaming movies and games.

I find the kindle so nice, that i will be replacing my other brand of personal tablet with a kindle when the time comes.

I've had several "off-brand" units and was constantly replacing them.
