Updatestumbled around and went to settings and then to device code and there was able to change the language setting

I think it would be nice if amazon would provide a video showing the 2024 paperwhite settings page where you could see where to go even if it is in russian and you cant understand it at all or give a guidance to a pdf online through amazon which shows the layout of the individual screens i

Otherwise i think i will be very happy with my new kindle 2024 paperwhite and will come back later to give another rating but i think i will leave this here for now for any other poor souls like myself

Earlierlooking for a map for finding settings and changing language to english from russian i thinkit is not helpful to read select 3rd down or 5th down it would be very helpful if amazon would provide a link to a visual image of the actual pages on a 2024 paperwhite kindle where for example it would all be in russian in the image but you could see the right item being tapped taking you to the next page and so forth until one has been able to change it from russian to english
