These devices are also great option for renters, or any situation really, where you might find yourself prohibited from poking holes in walls to run wires. Set up is semi hard but my brother helped with that since i’m not tech savvy like that.
The price and convenience makes it really appealing, even given the shortcomings. The motion detection works well and you can adjust the distance and sensitivity in the blink app. The ability to arm and disarm the cameras is excellent.
Cons
Per month or $99 per year with a two-year contract. If you pay monthly, you can't store your recording even with local storage plugged in. It is absolutely crazy customer service didn't provide any customer service.
