Pros
Yas 209 has a great sound throughout the house. Great bass and sound quality.
Bought a pair of these to replace my 2nd edition bamboo skin. This new version looks better (although it takes up a bit more space). Does a very decent job.
Cons
The sound quality is ok, but the claims the sound is something more than average is incorrect. They are not comparable with each other and you don't find out until you try to stereo pair them. Very weak alexa technology. Stick to one as an occasional ... Read More
Shame on you for selling a flakey underdeveloped service. Keeps disconnecting, no wonder amazon are selling them at a discounted price. Amazon is generally making moves to force device users back into the amazon eco system.
Amazon echo doesn't work with spotify or vpn. Yet when i open the spotify app on my phone and start playing the playlist i want, then stop it, it plays the song i just started from where i stopped it. Do not get alexa for playing spotify.
It ruins the entire product and means “alexa, shut up! Not recommended’. Otherwise it is the most frustrating thing i’ve bought in a while. Avoid avoid avoid.

I bought this in the sale, very much worth the £50 spent.
I bought this when it was recently on offer at £50, and i'm really impressed.
Not worth the extra spend as there is very little difference in sound or functionality.
Go for which ever you can get the best deal on.

Less than an hour after it arrived i’m sitting here telling alexa to switch the lamps on and off, feeling like some tudor monarch.
Packaging/appearance
I liked the packaging i felt it was well designed especially for people who may find it harder to open boxes or unwrapping tapes.
It comes well packaged, as do all of the amazon devices i have bought, very easy to install, and fits in with my various uses.
Well packaged product, deliver what you promise.

As it stands i find the default sound a wee bit bassy its easy enough to tweak it but then the app forgets it all again
