Easy to install and an excellent addition to my car journeys
With having issues with my car radio on fm and even dab buffering and back ground hissing this as saved the day easy to fit and set up
The only solutions amazon themselves ever offer is to reset the device, uninstall the app and reinstall etc.
The voice command never consistently worked so being in the alexa ecosystem already i gave the echo auto a try.
Price
99 and my advice is wait for the price to come down to that level again.
Shipping
Amazon, to their credit, sent me a new device, and asked me to see if it was any better.
Packaging/appearance
Pros -much smaller package so less obtrusive on the dash board.
Competitiveness
I have even tried phones on different networks, and have the same issue with all.

I had the original in my other car and in the subaru i now have this but it does struggle to hear me sometimes even with the engine off

Apart from that its great and makes journeys easier if you need to set a destination just ask it or to play a song on spotify etc

Nothing to dislike as such it works using your mobile networki didnt like the fact that if i was using maps on screen and asked to change radio station maps went off and you had to touch the screen several times to get it backso for that single reason its wasnt for me as i didnt think it was safe

But the usb power lead is unhelpfully short

The only issues i have is occasionally it stops working making me unplug it and then plug it back for it to initiate again

The mic is a bit sensitive so it triggers often to any word that sounds remotely like alexa when the mic is turned on which is a slight inconvenience

It is also not very loud when talking on your phone and stereo if you have your media playingand you cannot turn her voice up its fixedthe leds adjust too the light levels and dim in the dark
