The 5th gen is pretty much the same as the 4th. But in the living room the sound is noticeably better (and louder) than the previous generation. The sound is also much better even though i thought the older dots sounded good these are much nicer sound... Read More

Any request or command is completed almost instantaneously. This is very refreshing from my siri which is getting to a point of being completely unresponsive. I love the skillsets that are available on this device.

As a wifi extender, it has a long way to go.

The songs our kids enjoyed are now inaccessible. You have to listen to a shuffle of 1 or 2 songs you want to hear, plus all the random junk in that 10/100 million playlist, and that's a lot of junk.

The one has distortion and the other has a cracking sound. Worst sounding device.
