All smart devices are easily accessible and categorized. Alexa responds quickly to voice commands. I have 50 iot devices around my home connected with alexa.

They marvel at it’s capabilities, power, and ease of use. For those of us in technology, 1st gen is always the beta to receive feedback so it can enhance the product.

Cons

Screen is too small and the widget icons are too big. The gui is slow and the software is buggy. Editing the screen is a nightmare.

There is no ethernet connection, only usb-c. Also, it is unclear if the ethernet portion is used or if this is just wifi.

My router seems to be a bit overloaded with devices on the 2. It still suffers from everything this device suffers from, slow connectivity, lag, restrictions.

When trying to change volume on several echo speakers, it says an update is required. There is no support for echo devices from amazon, so i guess we can hope for a software update that fixes it.

This product is a great value for the money as long as your expectations are reasonable.
