Pros

The echo show 5 adds a whole new level of convenience and enjoyment to my daily routine. Perfect for forgetful folks like me, it keeps track of tasks and reminders with ease. Easy to use and fun to play games with, including facetime.

Cons

When spoken to, another echo dot in another room responds. If i ask to show the clock it tries to connect to my fire tv also now crammed with ads. No specific time of day, simply random. On the plus side it has a nice screen when it's working.

This is a terrible device, my first show device since the gen 1 (which still works like a champ placed in the kitchen) wasted money on a newer version just as bad as the previous one. This device is very, very slow and clunky.

Once any app goes to a commercial the sound goes off and won’t come back on unless i reboot. I have factory reset it but it continues. Rebooting sometimes helps - often doesn't.

But then discovered one of them randomly. Only to fail on finding a different one. Then, finds them, maybe for several days, then nope. Returned for replacement.

And yeah, no thx. Same thing.
