The app is easy to navigate. The keypad is nice, it has light on motion. Have not tried a different sim.

Easy to set either on mobile or from the panel. It is easy to adjust the alerts via the app. All emergency contacts will be notified anyway.

We are over 1 year into using the gen2 system and its been flawless. Only downfall is there isn’t an alarm fob.

We have a few things within the house worth a few quid, and thought this was a relatively cheap way to protect the house. Already felt more reassured having that on the front of the house for security, let alone for the doorbell functions!

Far too difficult to install. The keypad is useless. I like the idea of an alarm system that i can check on whilst i am away, but the monthly cost is basically for cloud storage.

The motion sensor has lots of dead spots, even on the highest setting. Biggest problem is if you have your exit door open and set the alarm it bypasses that door sensor. The motion detector goes off in a closed room.

The ring security base goes offline every few days and doesn't reconnect. The base station is offline so it doesn't really care how correctly you tapped in the code. The manual has the operating symbols under the wrong paragraphs.
