Pros
Have 1 shop/new items link and the ability to disable notifications. Instead of buying the ring doorbell, buy this and use it in your window if possible! Works with all my alexa components perfectly.
Image quality good for both daylight and night vision. Video quality is fabulous!
Ring indoor camera is great. Fits in between my window and my shutters to capture video from my backyard. I have solar lighting on my patio which helps with camera at night.
Ring is absolutely amazing, patient and knowledgeable. Fast delivery. Good video. Good audio. I am pretty impressed that they reached out. The custom service is amazing.
Cons
Nd gen model not connecting to wifi. Won't connect to the same wifi that my older ring cameras (indoor, outdoor) are all connected to. If i tell it to look for a hidden network it fails to connect.
The ring indoor cam is not built very well. And it's fake. How *. Considering retuning it. No youtube videos.

I see more of the areas and the picture quality is excellent.
Not only am i familiar with ring, but the picture quality is also so much better.
The video quality and reaction speed to movement is not as good as the outdoor cams.
Cannot do that at all with the stick up cams unless you turn them off completely.
Packaging/appearance
Was trying not to get neighbors yard in my zone.
Competitiveness
This set up very easily unlike some earlier models.
What a waste of timeupdate: customer service sent me a chime pro it got delivered the next day.

First mounted it too close to the ceiling and got 30 of the ceiling and couldnt rotate it down any more so instead of drilling two more holes in the wall i decided to mount it on a stick hard wood i had in the garage until i decide a more permanent solution
