Pros

The compact size makes it easy to place wherever you need it. When it's not being used there, it's in my garage monitoring the garage door activity. It helps in working with caregivers in the home.

Cons

The ring app is not compatible with my phone! The app claims it requires 9 or above. Not being able to set certain preferences without being a subscriber either.

Indoor cameras lose wifi every other day. This eliminates the ability to turn the tracking on or off. Without a wifi connection, this device is expensive - and useless.

Connects only to a 2. G router, not 5g. I am not sure if because it is connecting to a gen1 ring alarm base or my routers eero plus subscription is blocking a portion of the update.

Never a problem with camera quality, battery life not even damaged after being dropped.

The video quality is pretty good and it loads most times very fast.

I turn on motion detection before we leave the house and anytime there is movement, the camera will go off.

This camera is plugged in so no battery use for us with this camera.

This is a great indoor camera for the price.

Gives me sense of security at a good price

Also, at $60 (at least that's what it was when i purchased it), it won't be a budget buster compared to the added security you get.
