My personal favorites are the spanish tortilla with chorizo and scallions. There are several dessert recipes, so it goes beyond breakfast only type recipes. The recipes range from pancake pizza to eggs benedict.

Knowing why something works helps me make better substitutions should the need arise and decreases the number of flops. The recipes are foolproof and do not require long ingredient lists or complicated steps.

The only recipe i saw that peaked my interest is the cranberry-nut bread. Didn't find much in this book for that or even brunch at home. Maybe good for an inexperienced cook, not for an experianced cook.
