I think the size is pretty misleading as its the same length as one of my 834 shackles from voodoo offroad and the diameter is about the same as my 12 shackle as well

The rope diameter is apparently measured by the makerseller in a relaxed state because if you put the rope under tension its shrinks down to more like 71634 in diameter
