Pros

The casting on each half seems a little rough and is covered with what the seller says is a 12-stage coating process. This thing is sturdy and rolls smooth even when covered in mud.

A 1/2 uhmwpe winch line (aka spectra or dyneema) has a maybe ~15t mbs and a ~5t wll. This is pretty much what you want a * block to be.

This was safer than me hanging onto a large christmas tree tote as i straddle it down an attic ladder.

In this case, i didn't know what wll they claimed until i received the box.

The pulley came packaged in a sturdy box lined with foam.

Well, at least the box is mostly consistent with the 18t claim.

Competitiveness

)pros:- the wll on this block is 3t better than the mbs of the best 1/2" winch line i can find (dyneema).

This thing is half the size of my name brand snatch block, weights more, and has the same capacity.
